Refund policy
MGE Marketplace – Return and Refund Policy Last updated: April 2026
At MGE Marketplace, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we're here to help.
Returns You may return most items within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item is:
- Unused and in its original condition
- In the original packaging with all tags and accessories included
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Certain items are non-returnable, including:
- Perishable goods
- Downloadable or digital products
- Items marked as final sale or clearance
- Hygiene-sensitive products (e.g., underwear, swimwear) unless faulty
How to Initiate a Return Email us at support@mgemarketplace.co.za with your order number and reason for return. We will respond within 2–3 business days with return instructions.
Return Shipping Costs
- If the item is defective or we made an error: we cover return shipping costs.
- If you changed your mind: return shipping is at your own cost.
Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the credit.
Exchanges We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email us at support@mgemarketplace.co.za.
Consumer Rights This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa).
